Account or campaign

Use the account overview to orient yourself, then select a campaign to investigate its results.

Date range

Choose the period you intend to evaluate. A launch day and a full week answer different questions.

Audience breakdowns

Inspect available age, gender, device and publisher-platform breakdowns. Missing breakdown data is not proof that a segment received no delivery.

Refresh and export

Refresh to request updated data or export a CSV for further analysis. Check the reporting period before sharing a result.

Connect the report
to the business question.

Data comes from Meta reporting and may update over time. Demo analytics, where shown, are separate from your connected account’s results.

The right account and period
Check filters before comparing campaigns or explaining a change in spend.
The action you care about
For sales or lead goals, inspect your conversion tracking and business records alongside delivery metrics.
Consistent comparisons
Keep metric definitions and attribution context consistent. Different reporting systems can describe different parts of the customer journey.

Questions about
this workflow

Can I export the report?

Yes. The analytics dashboard includes CSV export. Select the account, campaign and reporting period you need first.

Does a low CPC mean the campaign is profitable?

No. CPC describes click cost. Profitability also depends on conversion, revenue, margins and other costs, which need appropriate tracking and business data.
